Malheur County Approves 2016 Trade Show Attendance

​MALHEUR COUNTY, Ore. – The Malheur County Court has approved Malheur County’s attendance to a list of trade shows during 2016. The list includes seven local and regional trade shows with a focus on manufacturing and value-added agriculture. Juntura Cutoff Road Project Receives $2 Million Funding Allocation

VALE, Ore. - The Malheur/Harney County Juntura Cutoff Road Project has received approval for $2 million of funding in response to their proposed Oregon Federal Lands Access Program (FLAP) application. Malheur County, in partnership with Harney County, Business Oregon, ODOT, Regional Solutions, BLM, and EP Minerials compiled and submitted an Oregon FLAP application as part of a funding package to replace the deteriorating Juntura Cutoff Road. The total funding package to replace the seven-mile long road is anticipated to total between $6 million and $6.5 million.
